'Swings and roundabouts' was a hand drawn animation referencing life and the nature of existence in abstract forms.
The piece draws inspiration from 1930s and 1940s experimental animators such as Len Lye, as well as contemporary creators like Steven Woloshen.
The animation reflects the cyclical nature of life, embracing elements of Dadaism, playfulness, and absurdity. Through movement and rhythm, it celebrates unpredictability while acknowledging the constant patterns that shape human experience.
Nominated for best animation award from Onscreen film festival and also shown at Hyde park art club in Leeds for a month as a part of an exhibition.
